Palworld Ore Locations and Ore Farm

Ore is one of the most vital resources in Palworld. It's refined into Ingots, a crucial component in crafting gear later in the game, and even many early-game recipes require it. This guide details how to mine Ore and the best strategies for optimizing your collection.

Where to Find Ore

You'll pick up stray Ore when hacking away at Stone deposits even in the starting area, but that's not the optimal method for farming a decent amount. What you're looking for is a different rock deposit — one with a sparkly glint on top, colored like brown and white marble.

If you mine these deposits completely and destroy them, they respawn within about 24 hours of in-game time. Find a cluster somewhere in the overworld (typically in mountainous areas), and it's a good idea to make a Palbox there and set up a base. You can also flag the location with a marker on your map.

Best Early Ore Farming Spot

There are areas around the map where Ore deposits cluster together. Perhaps the earliest and best place to set up an Ore mining facility is just northwest of the starting area, south of the Fort Ruins checkpoint, near a Level 11 Chillet mini-boss.

• Look for a sandy clearing with a deposit on the north side, another a short way south, and another just east.
• Being so close to the Fort Ruins checkpoint is an added bonus for fast travel.
• Note that you cannot build too close to the local boss — find a suitable spot roughly in between the deposits.

Set Up an Ore Farm

Once you've established a base in that area, capture a Pal with an innate ability for Mining. Dumud and Tombat are good contenders. Capture everything you encounter while in cave Dungeons to find suitable Pals.

Use another Pal with the Transporting ability to move resources into whatever storage you've built. The sooner you establish this mining operation, the better — before long you'll have a stockpile of Ore before you even need it.
